Take the road signs to Colonia San Pedro then travel West until the development called Punta Llarga is reached. Park the car on the tarmac road (hired cars in Majorca are not insured when left off the tarmac) and walk through the small housing estate towards a hotel. Walk through the car park on the left and down to a tiny inlet where a few boats are scattered around. Cross the head of the bay and follow a path around to the beach. 20 minutes walk. Others walk South from Colonia de Son Serra. Beach backed by a pine forest. A lot of seaweed pine twigs etc. on the beach. Non-nudists looking for shells, precious stones etc. at the water's edge.
(See Sunflower guide to Majorca. Walk no 22. 1hr 30min each way)
From Arta take the road to Capdepera. At a garage (near the stadium) turn left following the signs to Cala Torta. Follow a very rough tarmac road for 11 Km. Keep left at both forks and park before the road loops round to a beach (Cala Estreta). Walk Northwards crossing a small dry ravine until after 10 minutes a gate in a wire fence is encountered. Follow the path round the headland (one awkward exposed bad step which can be by-passed to the left up the hill) to a beach (Cala Malsoc) which is private but has plenty of seaweed and very pebbly. Exit this beach at a ruddy gap and follow the edge of the pine forest up to a defensive tower (Aubarca). From the tower take the wide track entering the pine trees but after about 200 metres cross to the right hand edge of the pine forest to encounter an obvious track skirting down across the headlands. After about 1hr 15mins walking the lovely hidden beach of Cala Font Salada appears and after another 10 minutes Es Verger beach. Both are clean sandy beaches with a very warm sea in Sept. They are mainly used by walkers who like to undress and swim. Deserted. No facilities whatsoever.
We preferred Font Salada but the guide refers to Es Verger as a 'Caribbean' beach with its white sand and crystal clear blue water. The walk along the jagged coastline was exhilarating.
Access as for Es Verger but take first right hand fork along the rough tarmac road. Partially nudist at Southern end. Smelly beach bar. Park on the sand.
From Arta take the road to Capdepera and then follow the signs to Cala Agulla. Parking is 300pts.
Cala Agulla is non-nudist but its neighbour, Cala Molto is very nudist but small. To get a good location on the sand you need to be there early in the day. Room for about 10 couples on small sandy 'pitches'.
From the car park take the track left (North) onto the spur which separates the two beaches. Pass between two white buildings and then descend a concrete staircase to the left of the next white building. There is room on sandy ledges for a few people near a disguised pill-box. The beach is sandy with a rocky edge. The rest of the small bay is rather rocky and can only be used for sunbathing and not swimming. Use the facilities (inc toilet) at Agulla. As on the other beaches your voice will be the only English one heard! Shallow sandy beach between flat rocky tables.
(Brian and Caroline's comments about Es Trenc have been collated with other reports and can be found here).
From Cap Depera follow the signs to Cala Mesquida. Park outside the holiday village and walk through it (public right of way) to the beach. The nudist area is at the Southern end of the bay near a rock camouflaged pill-box at the edge of the rocks. Beach bar. Restaurant. First aid post. Obvious line between nudist/non-nudist. Cleaned every day by a tractor. Very warm shallow water. No seaweed. No litter. Best beach we used.
